In Frankfurt, an eccentric hacker known as KLAUS finds his life in imminent danger after hacking into a German bank’s servers and exposing the finances of some of Europes biggest criminal organisations to an investigative magazine.
In Paris, a beautiful communications director named CATHERINE is forced to flee the city with the help of a former Congolese child soldier and current Parisian taxi driver JOSEPH, after being sexually assaulted by a powerful politician and stealing the laptop he was filming their encounter on.
In Antwerp, a shipment of drugs belonging to the DE LUCA crime family from Calabria is hijacked leaving a pile of dead bodies behind and adding to the already huge financial headaches for family patriarch GIOVANNI.
These three seemingly unconnected events are the catalyst for New Order. A modern pan European crime story whose characters find themselves needing each other to survive the dangerous and complex world they are thrust into.
The series will be visually contemporary with a high production value but also be faithful to the realness of its’ settings : the Calabrian countryside and it’s dream-like pastel colors juxtaposed against the electricity of big cities like Paris or Frankfurt and the harsh, industrial ports around Rotterdam, Antwerp and Marseille.
